Father Martin Vallely


Father Martin Vallely was born in Hamilton, Ontario, son of the late Frank and Audrey Vallely. He is the younger of two sons, his brother John was a Permanent Deacon in service to the Diocese of London, Ontario until his death in October 2017.  After completing elementary and high school education in Hamilton and Guelph, and University and Seminary studies in Waterloo and London, Father Martin was ordained to the priesthood for service in the Diocese of Hamilton, on May 3rd, 1980.  He has ministered in various parishes in the Diocese, and as the Director of the Diocesan Office of Religious Education (1987-1992). Father Martin was the Pastor of Blessed Sacrament Parish in Kitchener (1992-2005), and Saint Francis Xavier Parish in Stoney Creek (2005-2015).  He was privileged to have a sabbatical year, including studies and travels in Rome, before being appointed Pastor of Holy Rosary Parish on May 31st, 2016.

Mrs. Chris Gibbons


Chris-GibbonsChris was born in Hamilton and lived in Stoney Creek with her two brothers and parents.  Chris started attending Holy Rosary Parish with her fiance Denis Gibbons in October 1990.  Chris was a volunteer in the parish office and became a full-time employee working as Secretary/Bookkeeper.  Chris is also a member of the Parish Choir and a Cantor.

Pastoral Minister


Mary moved to Aldershot with her husband Dan and two sons in 1993 and has been a member of Holy Rosary Parish since then.  She graduated from the University of Toronto with degrees in Nursing and Divinity.  She has been the Pastoral Assistant of the parish since 2007.
